Stevens & Hand Managing Partner Speaks at Campbell Law School’s
Admitted Students Day for Raleigh Inaugural Class
CARY, N.C. (March 23, 2009) – Rebecca Stevens, managing partner of Stevens & Hand,
PLLC, joined a panel of speakers to share her professional and educational experiences
during Campbell Law School’s Admitted Students Day March 21 at the Cardinal Club in
downtown Raleigh. Approximately 130 students of the class of 2012 attended. This is the
first class of law students who will spend all three years at Campbell Law School’s Raleigh
location.
Stevens was joined by other Campbell Law School alumni and current students for the panel
discussion which was one of multiple sessions offered along with tours of downtown
Raleigh and the new Law School building to provide an overview of student life.
As an active Campbell Law School alumna, Stevens is a volunteer judge for the Campbell
Law School Moot Court & Client Counseling Competitions. She serves on the Board of
Directors for Triangle Homeworks and is a member of the Cary Chamber of Commerce.
Stevens is also actively involved in the Volunteer Lawyers Program for the Legal Aid of
North Carolina. She oversees the law student internship program at Stevens & Hand and
works closely to train and mentor law students who work in the firm.
With over 20 years of experience, Stevens is highly respected in the Triangle. She has served
as an instructor at various community colleges and is frequently recruited to lecture on
transactional residential real estate, educating other attorneys and paralegals.
